About Dan Granata

I am an actor, writer and informational omnivore living and working in Chicago.

As an actor, I’ve performed with companies including Raven Theatre, Signal Ensemble Theatre, New Leaf Theatre, the Right Brain Project, Open Eye Productions, Promethean Theatre Ensemble and Sansculottes Theatre. I’ve also written and performed a small passel of short films with Very Clever Productions.

I’ve written for ThreeWeeks (UK), TimeOut Chicago, and PerformInk as a critic and theatre researcher and commentator.

I’m the Managing & Marketing Director at the side project theatre company, and the Social Networking Director at Marshall Creative. I’m also the Theatre Researcher for the Chicago Artists Resource, as well as co-founder and co-developer of the Chicago Theater Database.
