Hooray for Our Side

This is a little old, but it came to my attention that at least one person out there thought my Chicago stage (non-improv or sketch) debut was worthwhile. Namely, Mary Shen Barnidge in her guise as reviewer for the Windy City Times. While listing “some of the shows ( and parts, thereof ) that made my job a pleasure in 2006,” Madame Barnidge included the gang from Sansculottes Theatre Company and I for our work in Practical Anatomy way back in January of last year. Apparently, we constituted an “Outstanding Ensemble.” I couldn’t agree more: that was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had while putting up a show, and the cast consisted of more talented go-getters than I’ve yet had the priviledge to be around.
