What's Goin' On

I’ve been remarkably busy the last few weeks, which is a good thing, though I find it hard to explain that to my sleep deprived system. What’s going on, you ask?

Our Country’s Good opens at an Athenaeum near you (provided you are in the Lakeview area of Chicago) next Saturday. We have the next two days off to rest up before plunging into tech week. (Check here for an adorable picture of me in a dirty, dirty shirt.)

Though my absence from this forum has covered the entire lead-up, be it now known that I was recently cast in one last show for the 2006-7 season: David Mamet’s Sexual Perversity in Chicago. That’ll start rehearsals before OCG finishes its run and will run for the last three weeks of May. I’ll be playing Danny (no relation), which, it seems, is a rather large role. Probably my biggest since moving to Chicago.

Vidiocy rides again, and my valiant production cohorts and I, undaunted by the ignominious end of our last stab at glory, will be meeting tonight to discuss our title: “Fashion Sense.” Hopefully, this will be our ticket to stardom. Or cover our costs. (Incidentally, a consumable version of our last effort, “Patience,” is due out on the IntarWub soon.)

Buy me a beer?
